Welcome to TS Education!
At TS Education, we strive to be both mentors and tutors. Since 2013, our experienced team have garnered a deep understanding of the rigours of the NSW high school curriculum and its’ nuances to best present this to our students in a way that will lead to many ‘aha!’ moments. We aim to provide this in a tailored approach to each one of our students as we understand that everyone learns differently. During your time with us we would love to hear back from you with regards to feedback so that we can better aid in your learning.
Please read the terms and conditions prior to enrolling with us for our tutoring services.
By ticking that you accept the T&C’s, you are understanding that this agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties regarding the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties. Where the student is a legal minor, the parent/guardian shall enter this tutoring contract on behalf of the student and shall accept and agree to all the terms and conditions contained herein on behalf of the student.
1. DEFINITIONS
Us, We and Our means The Studium Education (ABN 55 954 532 098)
You or Your means a student of The Studium Education, or their parent or guardian if the student is under 18.
Course refers to a NSW school curriculum subject offered at TS Education. - Term means a The Studium Education term during a school year. - Class or Session refers to an individual tutoring lesson for a course during a term.
Enrol means to agree to join a class/session for a course for a full school term.
2. STUDENT OBLIGATIONS
You agree to attend your scheduled class/session in your enrolled course on the scheduled time and day in which you are enrolled.
The Studium Education is not responsible for students making their way to and from class and/or tutorials, or outside of our allocated premises in Eastwood, NSW.
You agree not to behave in a manner towards other students or staff of TS Education that is disruptive or inappropriate. You may be asked to leave the class and we reserve the right to cancel your enrolment if the inappropriate behaviour persists.
You agree to ensure appropriate payment for enrolled courses and you are aware that we reserve the right to suspend of terminate the enrolment of students whose fees are in arrears
3. RESULT PUBLICATION
You agree that we may publish the academic results of all TS Education students. This may include the improvement a student demonstrates over the period they are taught by the TS Education team, or it may be the results achieved by them in standardised tests (NAPLAN, HSC) or as assigned by academic ranking systems (ATAR).
Unless you agree otherwise, we will only ever publish first name and results. No other personally identifying information will be provided without your consent.
4. MISSED CLASS POLICY
We understand that from time to time you're going to have to change lessons with limited notice. Our tutors understand this too. However, they have committed to come and see you which means they are unable to tutor anyone else during this time.
You may cancel a class/session no less than 24 hours before the scheduled class/session time. If you attempt to cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled class/session you must either attend the session or forfeit the tuition fee for that class/session. Although there are no refunds, we will try our best to organise ‘make-up’ classes.
If a class/session is missed due to a decision made from either assigned tutor or the TS Education team, a refund will be issued for the missed lesson unless a ‘make-up’ class/session for you can be organised.

6. PAYMENT & REFUND
Students and parents acknowledge they have read, understood, and agree to the terms set out in the Payment & Refund T&Cs. This consent is deemed to be received when payment for the student is processed, whether in person or online.
All invoices must be settled by the due date (Within 14 days of first attendance) to avoid a 15% late fee.
All invoices/fees are payable as indicated in your personalised invoice for each student and must be paid before the first lesson date, not inclusive of your trial lesson.
If you commence after Week 1 of the term, your fees will be calculated on a pro-rata basis based on the remaining weeks of the term or year.
All enrolment payments are non-refundable except where there are exceptional medical or emergency reasons. Where there are extenuating circumstances, The Studium Education may, at its absolute discretion, provide a credit or refund where it is deemed appropriate.
Payment is accepted in the form of direct debit, cash, or credit. Please refer to your term invoice to organise payment.
